Seasons Change

Hi my loves!
I realized that I talk about the weather in New York a lot on here but that's because it has a big influence when putting together an outfit. One day it's beautiful, the next it's freezing! Now that Spring is somewhat here, I wanted to give you guys a nice spring look. I really like the all white with the layer of nude. It just feels so clean.

Chic In Prints

Happy Sunday my loves!
I could not have asked for a better way to spend summer 2015 other than being in the Dominican Republic with my amazing friends and family. While there, I was able to meet up with my good friend Dorleen which was also on vacation. A huge thank you to her for welcoming me into her family's home and being the lovely person that she is! ♥

Sunday Brunch

Hi my loves! Let me start off my saying that yesterday was one of the best days EVER! My sister, our cousin, a good friend and myself went out for brunch. I suggested we all go to Miss Favela mainly because I have been wanting to go there for over a year now and secondly, because it's walking distance. Hahaha! Well let me say I am beyond satisfied, it was love at first sight. It definitely wont be my last time going there! The food was amazing. Also, they have Forró Sundays. Forró is a energetic yet romantic style of music from Brazil, the Northeast to be exact. After brunch, the restaurant turned into one big party, which was awesome! I had so much fun. I also fell in love with the entrance. It almost felt as if I weren't even in New York. It reminded me so much of my family's house in the Dominican Republic.

CHS 2012'

Hey my dears! I know it has been a while since I last posted! I apologize for that! I have been so busy with school, work, and trying to keep all of my friends, hahaha! Today I hung out with my Best-est Friend in the whole wide world, Aisha! She had never been to the High Line and I thought today was the perfect day to go! Well anyway, on my outfit: my friend graduated from high school a few years ago and no longer wanted her school cardigan so she asked me if I wanted it. Of course I said yes! How could I not? As strange as it sounds, I love school uniforms, especially school cardigans/sweaters. Something about them is just really cute and stuff, ya know? Childhood nostalgia...
By the way, I did have a coat on! :p

Locked in Closets

Hey ya'll! Everyone that knows me knows how much I love Solange Knowles! Not only do I love her for her music, but her style is perfection. As everyone also knows, fall is here and it is my favorite time of year! Solange's new EP was released November of last year through Terrible Records. The single "Losing You" is my favorite! But, it doesn't compare to "Locked in Closets." Although the video was released in the spring, it gives me a nostalgia of Fall!
So, here it is; My Solange Knowles inspired look.

What's better than going into your dad's closet and finding amazing vintage things? Today I was really inspired by my dad. Back in  my dad's day, when he was a young fella' he was quite the fashionista! I've always loved looking through my dad's closet because from the funky vests to the vibrant ties, I always lay my eyes on something new! I'm so glad my dad kept all of his things because vintage clothing can get really pricey! So yea, my look for today was inspired by my poppa. Although he's not a big fan of my gold shoes, and probably would have never worn them back then, I of course had to add my own RDM twist! My fellow followers and bloggers, join me as I go into another time and admire my dad's style.
