Happy Sunday ya’ll!
The weather here in NY has been so inconsistent. It’s crazy to think in December we are having days in the high 40°s almost 50° but hey, i’m not complaining! I guess times are changing, right? Now that things are slowly but surely going back to “normal” and remote work is not as customary— I actually have to get dressed to go to work lol.
Let me tell ya’ll about these flats i’ve been obsessed with! I usually stay away from flats because my foot is wide and all of the flats I have tried just don’t work and to be honest, are really uncomfortable. After some research, I came across Empress and they were exactly what I was looking for; minimal, catered to wider feet and of course, chic.

I think it's safe to say that camo is definitely a staple/closet classic. There has always been something camo in my closet— whether it be pants, a jacket or a bag. Como is definitely timeless and can be paired with almost anything.
I found these cargos on my last trip to the Dominican Republic, my aunt was driving and I saw a lady selling clothes outside— I saw these from a mile away, screaaaamed and made my aunt stop! And now they are mine.

Hi ya’ll! I cannot believe we are in November already, time is flying by!
Lately my attire has been about comfortability and and transition. I have been gravitating towards pieces that can easily transition from workwear to a more casual polished feel. I also love layering, it allows you to play around with pieces you already own and experiment with different textures and fabrics.

Hi!
The weather in New York has been all over the place, honestly. Mama nature (global warming) is not playing with us.
Ya’ll know i’m a big fan of a classic trench coat- it’s a staple piece in my opinion. I purchased this sleeveless trench for a shoot and ended up not using it, and kept it for myself haha! I love it because it allows for interesting layering. It is perfect for the weather we’ve been having lately where you don’t necessarily need a full coat but need to stay warm, that’s where the laying comes in. It’s comfy and easy to combine.

Happy Monday ya’ll!
Now that I am focusing on minimizing my wardrobe and creating somewhat of a capsule wardrobe for myself— I have been on the hunt for some classic high quality staple pieces. A few months ago, I was looking for a black blazer and scored this Givenchy tux blazer at a thrift store for the low low! (LOL)
Adding a blazer can change and elevate any look. You can take a pair of jeans to the next level by adding a blazer, like I did with this look. I paired this blazer with these vintage Tommy Hilfiger jeans and my favorite boots at the moment. To complete the look I added a vintage Gucci bum bag waist fanny pack to add some definition to my waist and add a bit of contrast to the black.

One thing I love is being able to use one piece multiple different ways- but being able to style 2 outfits out of one is so fun to me. I love that I can be creative but also, it contributes to a more minimal and sustainable wardrobe (something I am trying to do.)
