One Outfit, Two Ways

One thing I love is being able to use one piece multiple different ways- but being able to style 2 outfits out of one is so fun to me. I love that I can be creative but also, it contributes to a more minimal and sustainable wardrobe (something I am trying to do.)

Hi ya’ll!

I know it’s been a while and to be completely honest— I kind of gave up blogging and started focusing solely on my styling career. Recently, it was my blog’s 9 year anniversary and that sparked something in me to start blogging again; and well, here I am!

NYFW Day 3

Happy Fashion Week loves!

I am so proud and happy for my friend Ana. She was selected by FDLA to come to New York from Dominican Republic to showcase her collection for NYFW. Her collection “Atardecí” is inspired by the warm and hopeful sunsets in the Dominican Republic.

sweat pants + blazer

Hi all! I love dressing up a pair of sweats either that be with boots or a blazer. Lately my style key is being comfortable, so my outfits are centered on that.

Shoutout to my little cousin for capturing this #OOTD on her phone.

Retro Paradise

Hey y’all! Happy new year!

I recently just got back from the Dominican Republic (wipes tears.) I had such an amazing time, I was able to meet new incredibly talented people and explore different parts of the country.

One of my firsts visits was to La Maleta’s Pop Up Market where there were local vendors, homemade cocktails, art and live music. Just pure magic!

6th Year Anniversary!

Today marks 6 years of my first blog post. I started my blog as a way to document my style and interest for fashion but mostly to inspire others to discover theirs and own it. I am so grateful for my readers and the people I have met through my blog and for my friends and family who always showed their love and support. I love y’all.

Also, shoutout to my brotha @mr.ortiz_ for the pictures— follow him!

Cool Summer

Hi'ya! I've been enjoying summer and trying to get out of my shell. I had the opportunity to attend Afro Punk this year for the very first time. I really enjoyed myself. There was great music and style! I was also able to Eryka Badu perfrom *my life is complete* lol!

A New Year Is Approaching Us!

I cannot believe it's almost time to say goodbye to 2017 and say hello to 2018!

Despite the conflicts in the world we've seen this past year, the sun continues to rise in the morning. As should we.

Accept and welcome all lessons this year had to offer and prepare for the ones the new year will present you with. In difficult times, remember to chose and walk in love. Choosing to focus on love and seeing the beauty in the world around us will increase positivity and attract good things. Remember to set your intentions for this new year. Count your blessings, express gratitude. Carry a smile.

Happy (early) New Year!
