Thankful

Hi my loves!
I cannot believe it's been a month since I last blogged. I have been super busy lately and also my computer is kind've messed up so it makes it a little difficult to post.

As you all know today is thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. I am amazed at how blessed I am. Now, I may not be exactly where I want to be but I am sure on my way and I truly believe that timing is everything. Sometimes we get so caught up in where we want to be and the "what ifs" that we don't stop and cherish the now, this moment.

I leave you guys with this: Appreciate your journey and remember that where you are right now is exactly where you need to be. Growth take time.

Birthday Suit

Happy Thursday everyone!

This past Sunday was my 19th birthday! I want to thank everyone for their beautiful wishes and for making my birthday special. This past year I have learned so much. It was an emotional roller coaster but I gained some really good lessons, a new found strength, wisdom and a more positive attitude.

So we all know how much I love a two piece suit and what better day than your birthday to wear one?! I saw this set at Forever21 and I was literally in love. I automatically thought to pair it with my Flamingo shirt, which I think is one of my favorite pieces I own(I say that about almost everything) Haha!

Cheers to growing a year older, to learning, to loving and to wearing shirts with flamingos all over them! ♥

Classic & Comfy

Hi there my fellow bloggers, so we meet again. I've been trying my best to blog more consistently and it's going pretty well. But, I have to say, it's not AT ALL easy! I say that because one, sometimes I find it hard to find someone to take my pictures. Not all of my friends have the same schedule as I do. Secondly, when I do find someone to take my pictures, we have to rush and shoot before sunset. You can already see where I'm going with this. So with that being said, being a Fashion Blogger is not as simple as it may seem (I always tell people that!) I will be doing a post in the future on how to prepare for a shoot, so you guys stay tuned! xo

So moving on to my outfit. Let me tell you guys how my granny came to the rescue and contributed to this outfit(which I LOVE!) Originally I was going to wear this outfit with my staple, a white button down shirt but the weather in New York has been so inconsistent lately that I needed an extra layer, according to my grandma. We all know how grandmas can be, haha! But she suggested I throw the sweater over and I just loved it! I loved the color and the detail. It was just perfect!

Having a little hair moment.. Haha!

Matchy Matchy

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen me post this matching set from H&M.  I was pretty excited to finally wear it, I've had it for over a year and never paired it together.

I decided to mix prints not only because I love doing so, but also because I love the clash of these two prints. They just go so well together! Instead of opting for a shoe that pops (like I usually do so,) I just really liked the "matchy matchy" effect the loafers add to this outfit.
