After being at home for most of the week, my mom and I decided to head out into the cold weather and grab a very well needed hot coffee. Although we've barley had snow in NYC, I am already over it and looking forward to Spring. I must admit though, there's something very peaceful and beautiful about a snowstorm as absurd as that sounds.
My closet is primarily loud statement pieces, that's just who I am. BUT, having everyday basics is super important! I recently ordered this Bomber Jacket from Boohoo and I am so in love with it! I love the color and the fact that it's suede! What do ya'll think?
Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend ♥ I had a pretty hectic weekend from work to one of my closest friend's baby shower, to now packing for my trip. I am leaving to the Dominican Republic on Tuesday and I have not done any packing what so ever! In the middle of all of this, I still took some time to hang out with my friend and have some fun or maybe I am just procrastinating! Hahaha.
I have always loved carnivals/street fairs since I was a little boy. The lights, the food, the people, and all of the fun-- I just love it! Moving on to my outfit, I wanted to be really comfortable. A muscle tank, distressed shorts, and accessories are the way to go.
On Thursday, I had the opportunity to hang out with my friends Aisha and Jolina, and my baby boy Mikko! I was so excited to see them, its been so long since we spent some time together! We took baby Mikko to the park, snapped a few pictures and pigged out hahaha! We had Nutella pizza with strawberries and banana slices on top. Yummmmy!
On another note, sometimes when I can't find what to wear I opt for a black and white look, it's quick and simple. A little too simple for me, haha! so I decided to play with colors. I just love mixing Blue and Yellow. What colors do you like to mix?
Hi there my fellow bloggers, so we meet again. I've been trying my best to blog more consistently and it's going pretty well. But, I have to say, it's not AT ALL easy! I say that because one, sometimes I find it hard to find someone to take my pictures. Not all of my friends have the same schedule as I do. Secondly, when I do find someone to take my pictures, we have to rush and shoot before sunset. You can already see where I'm going with this. So with that being said, being a Fashion Blogger is not as simple as it may seem (I always tell people that!) I will be doing a post in the future on how to prepare for a shoot, so you guys stay tuned! xo
So moving on to my outfit. Let me tell you guys how my granny came to the rescue and contributed to this outfit(which I LOVE!) Originally I was going to wear this outfit with my staple, a white button down shirt but the weather in New York has been so inconsistent lately that I needed an extra layer, according to my grandma. We all know how grandmas can be, haha! But she suggested I throw the sweater over and I just loved it! I loved the color and the detail. It was just perfect!
It's been a while since I last did a Style Sunday, huh? I am so sorry ya'll. My blog has been mainly concentrated on me and how I style myself. I've kind of lost sight of what it is that I love doing and that is making others feel confident and beautiful! Also, it's been a bit difficult getting together with some of my friends since we have such different schedules. But, I am back now and I am going to try to make Style Sunday a bit more habitual.
Now, let's talk about this outfit for a second. This is by far one of my favorite outfits I've styled someone in! When I style someone, I like to take into account that person's personality and personal style. My dear friend Kymberly is a ball of FUN and is a huge flirt, hahaha! I mean I love this outfit, it's just so... Kymberly!
I wore this outfit yesterday to hang out with my good friend Aisha for a day of shopping! Aisha's birthday is tomorrow and she wanted my help to find her birthday outfit.
For my outfit, I decided to go for a pair of distressed jeans. I wanted to to be very comfortable and prepared for a long day.
Have a lovely weekend xo

I think I've shared this song before, but it's such a good song! ♥ I'm obsessed
This past weekend I had a sleepover with my two friends Kirstie and Maria. As some of you may know there was a snow storm here in NYC so we were literally locked inside. Being the adventurous friend that I am, It was my bright idea to hit the streets! Hahaha. We walked the park, took amazing pictures and had fun all in the freezing cold!
I really wanted to incorporate color into this outfit because I feel that when winter comes around, there's always a dark cloud hovering over us (Fashion wise.) If that makes any sense... Haha! I love the color coral and when I found this coral coat I thought to myself "It is perfect, I NEED it!"
Hi my loves! It's been a long time since I last posted, I have been a bit lazy haha! So you all know how much I love shoes, especially PRINTED ;) I have been wanting a pair of leopard print sneakers for a very long time now but the prices are just INSANE! But luckily, one day I walked into a Payless and found them! Just how I wanted them, my size, good price and the LAST PAIR! Lucky, right? I paid 20 bucks for these babies and I am in love, they are so comfy!
By the way, I never notice how much my hair has grown until I see pictures of myself! #LoveYourNaturalHair ♥
Originally, the neon bracelets were not part of my outfit. I felt like this outfit needed a "summer touch" to it because I felt like it was a bit too "Fall". Now looking back, I shouldn't have added the neon bracelets! Hahaha. Oh well! Let's talk about baby Mikko! On Saturday he turned 2 years old! ♥ His Mickey Mouse themed birthday part was just the cutest! I had a great time!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend! My heart goes out to those who have loved ones serving in the Armed Forces, and also to those who have lost loved ones.

Happy Saturday fashion lovers! This week has been a crazy one for me! Also the weather in NYC has been so "eh." So, here is a look from last week when it was sunny and beautiful!
I am not a huge fan of Denim on Denim but when I threw this together, it just felt "right." You know what I mean?
Enjoy me being silly (as always)

Happy 2014 everyone! I hope that this new year brings you peace, love and many good things. For this new year I really want to work on my fashion, school, and most importantly myself. I want to continue to be a person who lives in faith. Here is a prayer:
O LORD, thank you for a New Year and a fresh start. Please give me wisdom and strength to serve you with integrity and faithfulness in this coming year. I pray that your work be done in my life as I offer myself, my plans, and my future to you. I pray this through Jesus my intercessor and Lord. Amen.
Shannel's look:
For Shannel's look I was going for a more laid back yet sexy look which is why I paired her boyfriend jeans with the strappy heels. I added the snake skin clutch/bag to the outfit to add some pop and plus, I think the bag goes great with the shoes! Shirt: Old Navy Blazer: Thrifted Jeans: Old Navy Shoes: Rainbow Bag: H&M
My Look:
Today I was feeling a bit edgy! I really enjoyed this look, it was fashionable yet comfortable! Since I have been feeling a little sick for the past few days, I layered up! I wore a black t-shirt under my sheer top, a leather moto jacket, and my new coat! I was very warm! Hello my dear bloggers! It's finally starting to feel like Fall, for like the 5th time! This weather is out of control! I bought this sweater last year at Old Navy and never really wore it. I love it! I actually want a scarf just like this! Which reminds me, I couldn't help but feel like a wizard from Harry Potter when I wore this sweater! Haha! Mustard Yellow, Burgundy, Brown and Olive Green are like the perfect colors for this season, and I have all of them in one outfit!
